The latest variation of the Premium Rate cost trap from these charlatans is a text message that I have missed their call. If I call them back I am paying them for the privilege and they will probably delay their response to make more money. Definitely not to be trusted.

This is the second call from a call centre claiming to be from Domestic & General with the information that my washing machine warranty was about to expire. They already knew my name but I didn't confirm it.
Both times I informed them I didn't have a warranty, and they terminated the call.
The implication is that this is a scam call.
Call from HMRC telling me that I will face legal action and to call another number immediately. Checked with HMRC and they said that they wouldn’t leave a recorded message, text message or email regarding this.
I keep receiving multiple calls from this number as well as other local area code numbers on both my landline and mobile. No messages are left and when I did pick up once, they hung up. I am presuming it s a telemarketer.
The usual 3rd party insurance scavengers working on peoples traumatic collisions as a means of making their own profit. Upon my informing them, rather forcibly at this point, that I had been getting multiple calls from such companies daily and to take me off their lists, the girl there told me that they would be calling me again and again and again. "Coz youre horrible."
So.... even if it is a legitimate company, I really wouldn t put too much faith in its mature handling of any kind of case. Avoidance sug
