Myself being quite suspicious, I asked a few probing questions myself and they got defensive and hung up. "Wayne" called 2 hrs after a female colleague of his called my business mobile number claiming that they were from the Review Department (no company name given) telling me I was eligible for a reduced rate policy. When I asked what MY name was "Wayne" said "you don't know your own name?" to which I replied "neither do you" and asked him to "go away". I then hung up the call. These people are scum.

I had a call from 01792 917727 similar experience as others. The guy claimed to be from Aviva life and wanting to discuss my life assurance. I said I hadn't asked for the call and didn’t take unsolicited calls at which point he shouted down the phone “well f**k off then you stuck up cunt” I spoke to the police who said it was indeed an offence but probably best to report it to OFCOM which I did. I’m not easily shocked but this has outraged me and must be stopped.

Keep getting calls from this number. Un-named company if you call them back or if they leave you a 5 second voicemail (with no message). Our events team called you on behalf of one of our partners . No mention of who they are or the Partner they re calling on behalf of. Sounds proper dodgy - blocked.

This pestering company has been ringing me at least once a day for the past two weeks trying to sell me their overpriced tat from 01509 553090 & 01509 553080. These arrogant Ducks use multiple numbers so I can t even block their calls as they just use a different line (Probably the only use being a mobile phones sales company is that you have a lot of numbers to ring and harass people from). I always get the same clown ringing me as well "James" who one two occasions has had his mouth full when I answered

It's a scam. An automated voice advises your Amazon Prime is about to be renewed (we have Prime but it's not due for renewal for many months) and to press 1 to speak to an advisor. This scam has been widely reported in the press, do not press 1, just hang up or better yet, don't pick up at all.

This is a scam but a worrying one - the Asian sounding caller knew what account add ons I had on Virgin Media but some 2 years ago. Checked with the real VM and they have not rung me!
