It s genuine Lloyds Bank fraud prevention service. They don t ask for PINs, passwords, etc. They do try to help protecting you from fraud, i.e. someone else might be using your credit/debit card details, so they try to help you. Be nice to them!

Vodafone telesales line . During your contract they occasionally call offering upgrades or other services. can occasionally be useful if you were thinking of upgrading - you can upgrade as early as 6 months before the end of your contract with a telephone advisor as opposed to 3 months online. When they last called there seemed to be some kind of party in the background. Lots of clapping and shouting - seems to be a typical telesales office, but its not a hard sell. Fraud a pre recorded message claimed to be from Amazon said they had took payment £ 79 for Prime subscription and to press a number if any queries etc. Amazon do not have my landline and I am not subscribed to annual arrangement.

I ve several calls from this number first time stating they were from BT and there was an emergency with hacking on my broadband and that they need to remote access my PC then charge me for the service (I don t think so) then the latest was they stated I was owed money for over charges to my bank account said a cheque would be issued to my home address (which was my old address) told the guy I hadn t lived there for years and didn t believe him then hung up!
