Called today at 11.20am, i did not answer as I did not know the number. Didn't leave a message. So prob spam/con merchants.

Called in the middle of the day, there was no one there and as I was about to put the phone down I heard the caller say is that Mrs Smith...and I'm a chap! I put the phone ...
Almost caught out by the Hi Vis Vests scam. He paid £2360 into bank with cheque and then told us he had overpaid by £2000. Doesn t appear on Companies House. Smelt a rat so informed bank. Will just wait now for the cheque to bounce.

They call and ask you for a one time payment to support a magazine to go into schools regarding bullying. ONCE. ONE TIME ONLY. You do not sign a contract, you do not enter into an agreement. They then persistently call you and ask you for more money as apparently you have entered into a contract. My phone said potential scam call so didn t answer it
Usual blank calls and harassment. Very aggressive and arrogant but got short shrift.
Hmrc automated scam call
