Just called me randomly, heard a voice, I asked who was this and then got cut off
SCAM number pretending to be my internet service provider without even saying who that it, and stating in an automated message that there has been illegal activity on my account and I'll be cut off within 24/48 hours unless I press 1

Foreign sounding name told me that my broadband from BT was finishing within the next hour. I put the phone down and my broadband is still in tact a day or so later.

This number called. No message.
Having received two missed calls I decided to call back. It's just O2 checking if I wanted to upgrade, and the person I got through to was quite polite.
SCAM They said there was fraud being committed on my National Insurance number (they didn't say what my number actually was). Demanded I "PRESS 1 NOW!!" a few times before hanging up. Please beware
I returned s missed call and got a reply incorrect number?
i have put Chancers debit management con sick of this rubbish we block all calls now to landline and mobils. truecall is good for the landline. hope this helps. great site many thanks.
