It was my employer Asda phoning me to do overtime. Asda has a new telephone system now which the local store phone number comes up as Asda House @Leeds.

This number called around 3pm but didn t leave a message. Don t know anyone in the Scottish Highlands and Islands. Online search didn t produce any information.

Answered "Hello" on the second ring. No one was on the other end of the call. This is happening often these days.

They called back. Probably PPI refund pusher as far as I could tell. I left him talking to the radio.

At the end of the end ,whether you are a British Gas customer or not , if you have not given British Gas your permission to call you , then it is a harrassment call. The other thing to bear in mind is , unless you make the call , how do you really know who it is who has called you? I am a British Gas customer , but as far as I am aware have never given them my telephone number , so beware !!

Random "you've had an accident" or "you're owed PPI"

A leading direct sales and marketing company in Birmingham City Centre. The do NO type of telesales so individuals generally receive no calls from them unless they are a colleague, sister company or have been successful in a job application.

Telemarketers, usual nonsense, I suggest you just cut the call if answered by mistake, block them on the mobile or landline handset if you are able, if you do talk to them then of course ask for your details to be removed etc... Do not behave like the quarter wit above, screaming and shouting at them, it just makes you look like a complete and utter fool and an idiot and in truth there is no reason to behave in such a way, it acheives nothing in terms of getting you out of their database. As annoying

This number has called four times in the past 24 hours, claiming to be from TalkTalk. I called TalkTalk who said it is not their number. When the number called back (from a call centre overseas) they hung up when I informed there I knew it was a scam call.

Text said "How are you dear?" Presumed a friend had a new number so I replied. They then told me my number had won €785000.

I was called 5 times in 6 days. I tried to ring back to have my number removed from their database, an automated reply said it was sky, to stay on the line, but nothing more happened. A waste of my credit, and my time. These are nuisance calls at best!

Answered and put down phone?? didn't ring back. Bit confused as I had just ordered window blind from a company with a similar phone number.

First I got a call on my Mobile from a number showing as New York - didn t answer. Then I got a call a coupel of minutes later from 07418342582, ostensibly a UK Mobile. Answered and got a recorded message in Arabic (or Greek, or similar). I hung up. A few minutes later a text with a Telegram code number, asking me to click a link. Obviously I didn t as I know nothing about this. Beware!
