Phone call received with a terrible line connection. Could not make out the company name. The callers reponse was very delayed as if it was a cold call machine. It asked me if i had been in a car accident so i replied no and hung up.
SCAM. Claiming to be tax office / audit.

Haven t answered as I don t recognise the number but they have rang me at least 8 times in the last 9 hours.

I left this comment on the Voxbone SA Scam Number function, which is apart of their website. Number seems to possibly be a missed call scam of a 0845 number. The number calls at around exactly the same time everyday, and leaves a voicemail that is completely blank. Considered as a scam call. Automated message speaks of unusual activity on your Bank Account, eg a £200 purchase from Amazon not thought to be made by you and a £1,000 transaction from abroad. Hang up. Do not "press 1" or any other numbers. Ring your Bank if you feel you need to.
SCAM Automated call pretended to be Ofcom and that my io address has been connected with links and internet was to be switched off within 24 hours, and asking me to press 1 to connect with the scammer. Hung up and contacted Ofcom directly and clarified it was indeed a scam. Horrible bastards I hope no one gets caught out HANG UP IMMEDIATLY.

They now have a new number - 0800 4 11 88 99. Like many others I took out 3 years cover on a machine I no longer have. Tried cancelling over the phone but was informed I had to write in to obtain a refund. Did that a week ago but no confirmation of received so I tried phoning several times this morning but after seven minutes a voice says "Goodbye" and the call terminates. Judging from the ringing it is on a hunt group but nobody picks up. Looks like CAB is the next stop.

For the last 3 to 4 weeks, this number repeatedly calls during the day and leaves no message when unanswered. As I work nights, this generally wakes me but they don't stay on the call long enough for me to answer. I do not know anyone in the Pontypridd area and am not expecting any calls.
