Keep getting calls and spoof texts, they claim to be Scottish Power but they are not. They tell me my number is linked o a SP account but I rang SP from their website number and they have advised me there is no account with my number. I cannot make them stop so having to change my number. It been happening for months but I ignored them until it ramped up to daily.
Got an automated call from this number stating that its from HMRC and that there is a Tax Fraud registered against my name and I needed to press 1 otherwise I would be arrested shortly. I hung up straight away as I am certain that's not how HMRC operates.
Calling "from the ee network". Very scammy/spam call, hung up without any words when I said I wasn't interested in moving to EE.

Who are you why did you contact me
The only way to get at these people is to go onto the Information Commisioner s website and report the number. If enough of us do this, they will investigate the number. There are very heavy fines for companies who do this. Report them every time you get a call - it is very easy to do.

James rang me a couple of weeks ago saying we needed to renew our Google Business package with him - thought it was a bit dodgy as we paid a two yr subs with another company a year or so ago. I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden.
