They phone you just after *they* request access to your account via your phone company's website by using the "Forgotten Password" link, so that the real phone company will send an OTC (one-time-code) to your mobile for verification. These criminals then call you saying they're from your phone company and ask for the OTC that you've just received. I believe it is a scam. I blocked it as a nuisance call which I can only do on my landline. It kept ringing me every 15 minutes. No answer when I managed to pick up the call.

I received a text saying I have an appointment at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn this is a scam I rang appointments to see what it was about they have no record when I tried to ring the number on my phone they wanted details of my date of birth excetra this is a scam beware
