This is a company that say they are a "Microsoft Certified Company", and that you have errors and malware on your computer. They then try to get you to go to www.ammyy.com, so that they can ostensibly "sort out" your problems by connecting to your computer but in reality they are trying to look for financial gain, i.e. passwords, credit card details or bank details.

Had a phone call today off this number it s ppi i ve had nothing but harrasement i ignore the number block it then they phone me on a different number hopefully they will get the message soon i ve blocked at least 10 different numbers now.

Just called me and i answered. it was as scripted automated message that claimed to be "Linda Turner" repeatedly asking if i ve had an accident in the last 3 years that wasn t my fault. I m registered with TPS so do not know where they got my details.

on 22 june the above number 0161 8735544 rang my son and said that an amount of ?1500.00 was waiting to be claimed fir whiplash for a accident he had in 2009 foulishly he gave them details including his mobile phone number and said they will ring him on monday 25th june to follow this up. keep calling regarding a minor accident that occured 7 months ago. they say they calling on behalf of our insurance company but we followed up and our insurance comapny had not instructed anyone to call. blatant liers. they have called about 15 times.

Someone rang today and I missed the call when I rang back it said no such number this has happened a few times and this number should be stopped as a nuisance call

Chap claiming to be "Jim from Unique Preferences" (with a thick Indian accent) wanted to ask me "a few simple yes or no questions". He insisted he was not trying to sell me anything. The guy rang about PPI. He had the wrong name for the number and when I pointed out it was a company number he wouldn t give up and said he wanted to help everyone. I told him I had no PPI and he still wouldn t give in. He wanted to know if I had gone through the claim before and I told him I have no loans or credit cards so then he moved onto whether I was sold PPI through a mortgage. I kept telling him my answer was no but he was very persistent.

Unknown as was blocked on my Android phone by Calls Blacklist PRO (any unknown number not whitelisted or in my contacts will be rejected to voicemail) NOTE that 0116 0xx may be a call centre (have to dial all the digits so may be used for 03xxx 08xxx 09xxx numbers and unusual to see in incoming call, so might have been error in config or a foreign scammer with made-up invalid number
