After a few seconds silence I was put through to a telemarketer from Pure Holiday Homes.

Named my daughter as the person that he wished to speak to and upon my stating that she did not live at the address and that I was her mother, put the phone down on me, without explanation or the courtesy that the call was being ended

Caller asked for the "homeowner" (only closest friends have my number so we knew it wasn t genuine) very crackly line, he mentioned solar panels but my daughter could not hear him and asked him to repeat what he said and he hung up. I did 1571 and got this number in Plymouth. These calls are harassing and need to be stopped. No companies have my number and I have only had a landline since October so BT and other providers should be prevented from selling our phone numbers.
