Had 5-6 calls from this number in the past week - some of them silent/instant hang-ups, but most as someone calling from ?computer support department? (generic as hell) at ?Windows Company? (not MicroSoft? Funny that) about a fault on my computer. NB: I have a Mac, on which I do not have a Bootcamp installation of Windows. Offside at best, scammy as all balls at worst.

Received a call from this number at 5.58pm on 7/2/13, but the caller just hung up when I answered.

Supposedly from Evri. Txt saying parcel has been returned to their depot after failed delivery attempt. I’ve been in all day today so no delivery attempt made, also no outstanding parcels.
TAXES / HMRC, National insurance scam
Scam caller/ text message saying Royal Mail parcel needs £2.99 to be paid or it will be returned to sender.

Random cold calling accident claim company, name of the company wasn t clear, something like Accident Advice Company. Claimed to have got number from the road traffic accident organisation which keeps records of accidents from the last 3 years, which is clever as I haven t had an accident in 10 years. That s when they decided to end the call. Do the same as me, take the call and string them along for a while so they aren t bothering someone else.
Have written a date in the diary but cannot remember what it is far. I think it followed this call
