This number is causing a friend of mine who is in her 80s much grief

A recorded message saying they are my internet provider and are going to disconnect me. Sounds like a scam as they they should have the name of my provider.

Caller knew my surname, when I asked where he got my number he said from a data base. When I continued to question him he became angry and told me to stop wasting his time!!

No-one spoke when I answered the call. The caller rang off.

So they called me earlier today claiming to be Virgin. They were offering me a deal to upgrade my services and I was wary of them for quite a while, however they never asked me for any bank details only to confirm personal information so I proceeded with the call. After seeing the reviews here I got worried after by how much they knew about my account so I called Virgin, who confirmed it was in fact their marketing team and the deal I was offered had been genuine and that upgrades were indeed in the works.

Had 6 calls from this number yesterday! - and 2 so far today! Never answer after googling caller! Had calls previous to yesterday - but they seem to be getting more frequent!!
