yet another cold caller - ignore scam I think

Wanting to know my details to help me ?

Every time I get a missed call and the caller leaves no voicemail message I block that number.

Alpine Services called me saying I had been involved in a motor accident, which of course I had not. Phishing. They are NOT CONNECTED in any way to Alpine Insurance Services Ltd of Hadleigh Essex, who have traded reputable for over 30 years and never made these type of nuisance calls.

They were calling about marketing and were extremely rude when I said I was not interested.

same scammy call My advice is to always do what I do with these scam type calls; 1. use your phone to make a recording of 1 second of silence. (keep this 1 second silence in your ringtone or media folder) 2.Save the recording and call it scamtone or something. 3. then enter the scammy number into your address book as ; scam1, scam2, scam 3 etc. Each one represents a different scammy number that you get over time. 4. finally, associate the 1 second of silence with each scammy number as a ringto

this number called my landline, only rang once no time to answer but i always check the numbers on here

kept asking if i was the relation, but wouln t say who they were and when I questioned them, they said there was something wrong with me!!! very very rude person!!!!!!!! avoid like the plague!!!!!

I received a call from an indian man who knew my name and he asked some questions about lifestyle. I don t have time for survey, so I just hung up the phone.

If you receive a cold call from an organisation you don t know, just take as many details as you can, even if it s just the number and time of call and report it the Information Commissioner s Office (ICO) via this link https://ico.org.uk/concerns/ If enough people do this these companies will be fined - sometime pushing them out of business - and we can all enjoy owning a private phone again.

It might well be a scam - but there s a possibility that if you were awarded money by the courts then these lawyers are carrying out the work on behalf of the court. Howeve...

Called at 15:48 on 30-11-16, rang only for a few seconds and cut off before I could answer

Indian/Pakistani accent very poor English woman said she was from IT Maintenance telling me my computer is downloading multiple programmes due to a virus and they had been following activity on my computer I didn t trust her one bit and she was pushing for me to open my computer and let her take me through things step by step to clear things up

Yep it s RNIB, had my number from buying lottery ticket. Trying to get you to sign up to weekly lottery etc.

This number calls unsolicited and asks "If you want to speak to one of our advisors, please press 2". I have no clue who it is and it calls on a regular basis

Told him to get a real job ,that did not involve phishing ,scamming and lies.

I used to have a temporary subscription with them, which has expired and I have not renewed. They have not left me alone since and would cold-call me every week or so, trying to sell subscriptions to me, even though I explicitly told them to put me on the Do Not Call list numerous times.

Two calls tonight from this number the latest at 9pm !!! no message left
