Man with an extremely conk Indian accent but calling himself something like James Jeferson phoned me a day after I put my CV on line, I phoned back and told him I was at work but he said he would call me back; he kept repeating details that were on my CV saying he was just confirming them. Told me about companies that I already knew about and to whom I had applied for; said he was passing my details to his seniors (dodgy) who would call me with more details, he called me three more times but really pissed

Fraud I am receiving calls from this number and then several times again throughout the day on 0208 but with a change in the remaining 7 numbers, I have answered the only twice and the man on the line says the name of the same company, I have demanded that they stop or I will report them but they still insist on calling again. I'm not sire how I can stop them.
I text the number back so I am presuming that will cost me loads. They called at 10.45 pm and woke me up, very annoying!!!
Apparently, my Internet connection is unsecure and they are calling to tell me they will disconnect in 4hrs. When challenged - the lady caller wanted me to push combination of keys on keyboard but by this time I was so frustrated that she hung up because I must have sounded rude. She wanted to show me why/how my connection was insecure. -Didn't give her the chance - being described the CTRL / ALT / DELETE buttons as though I'm a child is not acceptable. All the numbers from this range 020794609xx are used by the same call centre dealing with insurance marketing - car accident. If you say you have had no accident, they mostly hang up the phone and that's it... I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very useful for call centres). No problems.

Recorded female voice claiming to be from HMRC stating that a writ had been filed against me and that I needed to call back on another number to avoid additional consequences. Sounded very authentic except that HMRC are unlikely to call anyone at 1030 on a Saturday morning! Would be very frightening for a vulnerable person. Clearly a scam
