Said he was from Domestic and General asked for my name, and then said he could not hear me could I give it again which I did. I had cancelled a insurance with D & G and thought they were ring to make me change my name. He then asked for the first name of my address and post code, and again said he couldn t hear me and asked me to repeat it again. This is when I got suspicious and hung up. I rang D & G and they apparently do not keep a record of outgoing cals.

Silent call Some heavy breathing, lol!! Apparently from “Leeds Tank”????!! Said: “the office is now(14.30pm) closed, please ring again between 9am and 5pm”. Putting this in the “rude comedy scam” label. It CANNOT SURELY be a genuine bona fide call. I suspect the “Closed at UK time 14.30” aspect makes it a foreign caller, disguised: SUSPICIOUS!!

Got a call from this number +442476755510 number advising that they were from Atrac Solutions (or this is what it sounded like). Asking to confirm my address details which I refused to confirm yet the caller was very pushy and continued in his persuit for this information. I asked what was the busines reason for the call but he failed to divulge this information. I kindly advised that I wouln t be answering any information until he at least told me why he was calling. SCAM A recorded message from 'Crystal at BT technical support' to tell me that they had detected that 'your security has been breached; dial 1 to speak to BT technical support. Clearly a scam of some nature, I didn't bother to dial 1 to find out what exactly.
Possibly a scam. Tried to tell me that he was BT and my router was bad. Both things untrue. I hung up. There was an earlier, similar call this morning from a woman with same accent.

Next Step. They have called countless times with these two numbers. Today I choose to answer. A lot of the information they have got about me is wrong, I didn t correct them. I am to expect some paperwork in the next few days which I will return to sender at their cost. Also, I have blocked the numbers.

Fraud - Recorded message stating there was a tax fraud in my name and I needed to press 1 to be connected to HMRC. If I did not press 1 it threatened that a warrant would be issued and I would be arrested. I did not press 1 as felt this was not an appropriate way for HMRC to contact people in relation to this type of matter.
