Nuisance calls being received from this number
Answered call, waited for response, caller hung up after a couple of seconds
Not on contact list, phoned but left no voicemail so I’m assuming this was a nuisance call, if it was a genuine caller they normally leave voicemail, I only pickup calls if they are proven numbers in my contact list.
Anyone reporting this number as dangerous is a Swansea University staff member forwarding their office phone calls to their personal mobile phone, as the calls will appear as if they were from the university when the staff member receives the call. This is a Swansea University switchboard number.

Calling that 0800 number says they are Stellar a partner of BT, and to call BT on 0800 028 2272. Don t bother if you aren t on BT. They ll tell you "you aren t on BT, we have no record of you!". This number is harmless. Is simply the call back service for Chatordate chat line which allows female callers to access the service without paying connection charges from their mobile or landline provider.

This is a guy called Jamie Hill. He transacts under www.jb-builders.uk - but is NOT associated with James Burns, of JB Builders in Manchester. Jamie Hill is using this builders great reviews to mislead unsuspecting holseholders in to handing over depostis for building work. There is a trail of people who are oyut of pocket to the tune of £1000's.

15:29 19/7/16. Did not appear to know my name, address or location, as did not refer to any - so just cold call to landline. Claimed to be from BT security and that there was a problem with my router. I asked who are BT? (jut to wind him up) - the answer he gave was the only truth in his call. He wanted me to check and confirm some details on my router. I told him I did not believe what he said, I was not going to give him any information and that I was going to hang up - which I did.
