Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Similar numbers are reported as a telemarketing - scam PPI calls mainly. Did someone answer any number of this range? Is there any reason why companies use line with shared costs for just ringing you and left no message (other than scam...)? If this was a silent call for you, do not call back for any reason! Had a call from this number on my mobile, saying that they had been informed that I had been in an accident

It was a recorded message saying that money had been taken out of a bank account and that I should press 1 to speak to an advisor. The name of the bank was not given.

I received two calls. I don't what nusiance calls on my mobile. People calling for suing PPI claims when I know full well I never had PPI. Calls like these should be outlawed.

Consumer research....and as like all these type of operations...when someone actually answers the phone at the customer end, the call is put through to an operator...if there is one available, hence the silence if one is not immediately there. They do state, if calling the number back, to leave your name and number to remove you from the database, which I have....so we shall see if these "nuisance" calls do actually stop!

Maria Wilson from BT Openreach, telling me my IP address has changed from private to public. Very insistent that I was in high danger. Told me she was calling from Hammersmith, London - on a Cardiff number?? Obviously a scam, knew that from the word go but kept stringing her along for 10 mins before I put the phone down on her.
