SCAM- first claimed to be HMRC then claimed to be life insurance.
A scam caller called Crypto-something-or-other. Offered me 50 dollars of Bitcoin in exchange for attending some seminar; no doubt the scam is that they try to sell you more junk cryptocurrency. Nobody really transfers Bitcoin in increments as low as $50 because the fees are so high. They knew my first name somehow and ignored the TPS Do Not Call list.

This company re sale web domains at inflated prices, access your details online with no prior connection. They was operating under a different name, I guess went bust and setup again. They gave me two names of companies hosting my domain, neither of them was correct, seems like a chancer.
I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know, just look them up like this and see the comments after. Save yourself getting wound up by these idiots. I once had a phonecall from these "We've heard you've recently been in an accident" so I said yeah I was parachuting and as I was coming in to land I went through the windscreen of a lorry. Fraud - Incoming call from a foreign call centre. Person on the phone not very bright. When challenged with questions such as “what bank is calling me?” The person was unable to answer and ultimately terminated the call. I knew it was a scam, but just like to waste their time as much as they waste mine.

claimed to be from the security department (but didn't say of which bank/credit card company) claimed to have identified two probably fraudulent transactions. invited me to press 1 to cancel or 2 to speak to someone. I pressed 2, but the line went dead. Looks to me very much like a scam.
This no is from someone providing loans and they say that you have cleared all checks and you have 100% been accepted for the loan you just need to pay £41 to make it a secured loan this is so they can see that they can afford the repayments but another company would only take a £1 to confirm your card is yours and working then they give u it back if what they say is what it's for a copy of your bank statement would be more than sufficient not and the caller id no is false SCAM
As soon as I dial this number a voice comes on to say that this number cannot be connected followed by another voice that says that calls are not being answered by this number - please try later. I used this number successfully last week but this week it has not been answered at all. I am calling believing it to be Natwest

I decided to answer and an Indian lady said she was from the "debt investigation department" . Apparently some government sceme to reduce your debt by 30-40%. I declined and hung up. Now blocked.
She asked as a tenant, do I have damp problems etc. I said I owned the house and that was the end. How do these people get our numbers?? And, I have lots of spam!
