24 Feb 2021 - I've had numerous calls from this number in the past few days stating I have a criminal record which that was the first call I answered then the second call I answered was a guy stating it was the job centre (universal credit) now since then its been voicemails as I didn't want to answer stating they are DWP I've been very confused and adjitated for over a week.. my gut is telling me its all a prank! SCAM Spam Fraud all the names you can think. Don't bother picking up or replying your call won't go through. Just add it to the ever increasing blocked numbers! My blocked is starting to challenge my phones contacts! I'd love to KNOW WHO it is selling my details as all of my numbers are meant to be protected & are kept out of the phone book etc. Wonderful to wake up to a fake call! SCAM, this was the second of 3 phone calls I got on a saturday morning, when i was still in bed, the first 2 before 9am, I have an answer machine and neither of the first 2 left messages, dont have call logging, so can only retrieve the last caller, which was this number, then around 9:54 the phone rang for a third time, I answered immediately, as I was actually holding the phone when it rang, said hello twice, no response, then they hung up that number was 01375405982.

Recorded message (automated) stating that HM Customs & Excise had filed a lawsuit against me and press on the dial pad to speak to the case officer. The message did not record on the voicemail system and is quite clearly a scam.
Couldn't hear him but tried to be friendly like we knew each other at first. When I stated my name was wrong (he had my maiden name) he started rambling about something to do with a software specification. Had answered by mistake. Now blocked.
