Told me I had an accident in my car. This was news to me, maybe I did it in my sleep. Scam of some sort. They called themselves Acadamy Legal or something like that. This number is a local code to me, so I assume they can use local exchanges to fool you into trusting them more.

I joined vanquis a few months ago, I had no idea how vile the company actually is! I paid 70 pound last month and my minimum payment of 15 pound and I have had 10 calls in the past 3 days. They are sneaky though using up to 7 different numbers. Bare in mind my job salary is only 450 a month and I live in my own house so 70 pound is a huge amount for me to pay. I hope this company fails. It ll cause a lot less problem for me in the long run.

2 calls today and 1 yesterday from this number. When I answer, it s just a dead line. Have just bought a new car (yesterday)and my mobile is the contact number the dealer has (VERY few businesses have it), so I suspect it s related to my purchase - probably trying to sell me car insurance or extended warranty or something.

I don t know why the authorities don t ban people/companies who do this (i.e. dial and hang up so they will get paid by people trying to call back)
