Just another telemarketing call center trying to persuade you that you have won some prize, just a scam. Block it, pure fake. Their classical call is "congratulations you've been selected to win £xxxx". Don't fall for it.

This number keeps calling and I don't recognise it

really frustrated that these people keep calling me and texting me despite twice texting them to stop and twice telling them over phone to stop. what can I do?

Says from debt collection and also other companies

Automated Call saying it was HMRC, very threatening on the phone. Said they were an officer but i didnt catch the name. apparently i will be facing legal action if me or my solicitor does not make contact. I'm going to take a wild guess this is a scam.

Told me I had had an accident in the last 2 years and had made a claim but could be due more. I have never had an accident or ever made a claim. Hung-up on them.

I had 2 calls from this number supposed to be from BT tech. First from an male at 9am then a female at 9:30 both from 02833610015 I did not give them any information and just hung up. I get a fair few of these calls. The next one will be a "will you take part in a survey" so they can find out who your service provider is, then pretend to be them.

SCAM - WhatsApp message came up on my notifications as ‘fernando’ the message claimed to be 30 yr old Alice working in the UK for the first time and wanting to make friends with another WhatsApp link.

Cold call purporting to be from Amazon Prime with automated American voice saying it was about renewal of my membership. Almost certainly a scam. I terminated the call.

07859 585346 – Received call 11.43 Thursday 21/1/21 to an Ex Directory BT Landline. Phone rang I picked it up, said nothing and they hung up. I did 1471 to gain the No. Msg – “Sorry the person you are trying to reach is unable to accept calls”. Scam. The No. is part of the Three Network.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1604310xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with Finance Review Centre, loans, PPI, accident claims. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new?
