They called to speak to my wife about a survey on her pension. We had been to meeting to discuss her pension that very morning! They claim they ringing on behalf of L&G but they have been employed to carry the survey on behalf a company called Gusto Research in Leeds. So a 3rd party has asked another 3rd party to carry out the survey!

They called three times this morning 3/2/16. There was a noise at the end of the line and then went dead. My mum answered the first and second calls and I answered the third. ...
I think the UK regulator in the field is failing us as the public. What do they actually do? In my opinion virtual numbers and use there of including the companies that provide these numbers needs to be monitored to stop this abuse. I regard this as a data breach likely stolen. I received the text a few time saying "Lloyds Bank Please call us on 08081014462 about your bank account. Thank you” I checked the lloyds bank website for a phone number and called them and they said they didn’t contact me at all and 08081014462 isn’t their number and DO NOT contact that number any question call the official Lloyds number.
