An Asian gentleman called apparently on behalf of a company called Housing Couldnt understand the second part of the company name Claimed that they helped tenants with repairs like mould etc He knew my name but didnt seem to know much else seeing as I am not currently a tenant anywhere

I lady called me saying she had frozen a transaction from going to a offshore account in China. The currency was bitcoin. This was odd as these transactions go to a bit coin wallet then to a debit card that is registered on your account. She did no DPA to verify that I was the account holder. Then she wanted me to download a app I refused so she asked if I have a pc or laptop. I said pc she wanted to screen share. I would do no such things I told her then hug up.
A damn foreign speaking person who keeps asking for someone who does not live at my address. Been going on for months.

I got an email from PayPal, saying I purchased a cell phone & that payment is now due. I called the number on the invoice from PayPal, a man with a thick indian accent answered & struggled to speak good English to explain himself. He asked me for the invoice number & said that a purchase was made IN MY NAME although my opening remarks were 'I don't have a PayPal account but I received an email requesting payment for a purchase' - when I asked him 'what's my name?' he hung up! Received a phone call from this number this morning at 10.39am. When I lifted the receiver there was some garbled noise then a single tone and the number rang off. Hard to say whether or not this is a 'dangerous' number but need to be careful. Not good when no-one speaks.

This number called and asked for me by my first name. When I asked who was calling he hung up. I have blocked this number- definitely dodgy if he won’t say who he is and why he is calling.

Scam center, very unprofessional, by the way. Calling about some broadband errors, that wasn't even my provider, then when I said, that it sound suspicious, started yelling "shut up, shut up" on me and hung up. Very amusing experience
