Called my mobile 4 times, I blocked their number. They left message on answer machine but it was complete silence.

I received a call from this number at 16:55 to tell me that the government owed me over ?4k I gave no bank details and when I asked what company they were calling from I was told it was a dept of the UK Government. I was also given ref no.RB51. I was told to call back in 5 mins to speak to a manager who would explain further and send me my cheque. If it was the UK Government surely they would write to people!!!

Just taken a call from a girl to my company saying she was from the energy care centre offering me £2000 towards new doors and windows. I clearly answered with my company name and she ignored this and carried on - so I had some fun with her saying I didn t have any doors or windows - she then said - do I have a brain and put the phone down. I wanted to say yes I do that is why is why I run my own company and I am not working for a call centre using a false phone number and making random calls for min wage b

My parents, both in their 80 s, have been receiving calls from this number. Often early in the morning and in close succession, there is silence, giggling, but no communication - very disconcerting for them. Since neither of them are in great physical form, it is extremely worrying that these nuisance calls are causing them great discomfort. What can be done about it?

This number has rang me almost every day for the past few months because I don t recognize it I do not answer. they don t leave a message so it must not be important. I normally let it ring off but will watch for call in future and disconnect. Thanks for your comments and information

Scammers. I just hang up as soon as they ask "how are you today?"....unless i feel like having some fun, then i reel off a long list of issues, like "preposterous piles" or "cretinous constipation". Don t even have a Windows computer, but that doesn t stop them calling.

claimed to be calling about staff training for department of education. demanded to speak to "your boss" when I grilled him on why.

received call from man with indian accent, he said he is calling from national accident helpline - i told him to remove my details from his database and never call back again. if only that was true. i have also reported this on the national accident helpline website and apparently it isn t them so i don t know what else to do.

I always get calls from this number. When I answer the call, they cut the line. Everyday I get around 3 different new numbers starting with 01 and ending with 089.

Constant calls. Silence. Even leaves silent messages on my voicemail.

Phoned my mobile twice in 45 minutes, so it must have been important that they contact me, but they never left a voicemail which makes me think it must be a scam company cold calling. Yes, cold calling as I never ask companies to contact me.
