Automated voice said hello, then a woman answered over it talking about claiming something for something from someone. Nothing to do with me, hung up.

SCAM Called on my mobile @ 20.00hrs. A Northampton dial code. Caller when questioned was from "the Philipines" looking to see if I qualify for "home insulation" funding. When asked how my phone number was accessed the caller hung up. Had this not been a recognised dial code I would not have answered the call. number now blocked. Also appears on missed calls list from yesterday @ 12.58hrs.
SCAM / SPAM Called from this number about a "government scheme" regarding "lagging recently installed" in my loft. Total nonsense. When I called them out, they hung up.

supposedly a text from O2 saying couldn't process my latest bill, and to avoid fees click link to update my payment details. I'm not with O2, number search comes up as an EE network number. Scam.
They were calling about marketing and were extremely rude when I said I was not interested.
I got a text saying it was from 02 and I needed to update my information but I am not with 02.

Received a call today (25.01.23) stating I was being investigated by HMRC and to press number 1 to speak with an operative. I just did nothing and the call was ended automatically. I'm guessing this was a scammer! Blocked of course.

I was called by someone as part of a recruiting agency. Please be aware that companies employ call centres to make calls on their behalf. These are people who are being paid to call on behalf of other companies. If you received a call from here saying you re a claimant of some kind it means that department has been fed bad data. Please don t be horrible to the people on the other end of the phone. At least they have a job instead of being paid by benefits.
