SPAM Called me this morning and stated he was from Protect or perhaps Protec and stated that they were a government linked company and needed to arrange an inspection of my roof insulation which should be checked every two to three years to eliminate mould etc from damp or deteriorating insulation. I told him it was not necessary but then he lost any confidence I may have had in him by comparing it with a car MOT which has to carried out. I reminded him one is a legal requirement and ended the call.

Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions. He said that he was calling from London, when I asked him what the weather was like in India, and it would be set up today! This number 01784321234 claimed he was from BT. He said I had internet issues. Once I turned the tables and started questioning him, he became flustered. He started contradicting himself. He hung up once he realised he was being reported as a scam because BT would always call from a 0800 number. Reported incident.

call from this number Monday 6th March at 13.50 when an automated voice said I was about to spend £700 + on an Amazon order and that they had halted the transaction pending my pressing button 1. I smelt a rat and hung up then Googled the number to find this site. I'm confident it was a hoax.

She went on..that it It was some sort of survey knew my name & address , said if I answered questions would not call again. I asked her what it was regarding for the second time she hung up . Reply
