Automatic voice saying "I was overcharged of £300 by Amazon & a £1,300 as been transfer was taken out of my Bank Account, if this is not you press 1". I have never ordered anything from Amazon & I have never transferred anything from my Bank Account. Do not entertain them, do not press 1, just put the phone down, block & report this N*.

SCAM sounded like a genuine call from Virgin Media about internet problems. Said their server had been receiving errors from my hub. Suspicious when they started asking me what apps I ran on my phone. Even more suspicious when they wanted me to download remote control software so they 'could show me the problem ' Noticeable change in tone when I said I was an IT professional. Hung up the phone and called Virgin who confirmed they'd never ask someone to download software.

I don't know think its safe I got a virus in my phone for a while and aI thought my Fb might be hacked ! I just went into my settings no where my WhatsApp was ,my own number was there . But where my FB was this number was there .and I have put soft ware in . I thought I deleted FB and re installed and no we I installed the installed the latest soft ware Amazon is not recognizing me .I have to re log in everywhere . It's a right pain. Danger - this number is from a scam Norton 360 protection email. It asks you to call number if you want to cancel the new subscription you have supposedly auto renewed. Would not have worked on me as I have taken Norton 360 as it’s crap as a protection software tool. If I had I would have gone direct to the Norton rather than respond to a high lighted number in an email.

SCAM: I believe this caller is possibly cloning local STD numbers. In an American automated-voice it then claims a substantial purchase has been made fron Amazon via your VISA account. Both of these accounts I have since checked and have not been affected in this way, hence my reporting this bogus land-line call.

SCAM premium rate number does not appear on my call log. Charged £22 for 5 mins and no record on my phone of this number.

Calls using various Manchester-area phone numbers usually starting 0161 531 ****. WARNING IT'S A DANGEROUS SCAM PRETENDING TO BE A GOVERNMENT SCHEME! If you don't recognize the number DON'T SPEAK, JUST LISTEN! and then if the line goes dead, congratulations, you've just escaped being scammed!

Bank Details Phishing Scam. They are illegally scraping Gumtree for mobile numbers.

Fraud - claimed to be VirginMedia. Claimed "illegal activity on line". threatened to cut off line. refused to confirm account details. became abusive when challenged.

This was a scammer who pretended to be from BT talking about illegal access to your broadband.!! That's rich!! Hacked my bank account and Amazon a/c. It took ages-up to 5 days to clear this mess up and it leaves a sour taste in your mouth. If someone had asked me last night if the death penalty was appropriate for scammers, I would have agreed. Now thinking about it castration without anaesthetic would be better.

SCAM... I've looked up this number on other 'who called' sites & some folks have had the same calls & they've stated it's a scam...be aware folks!

This is a scam number which charges a premium rate at 3. 60 per minute to connect you to a service, they will likely put you on hold to music to make as much money as possible. Do not be duped into calling this number. Before calling any phone number, double check the website’s URL to ensure it definitely belongs to your provider - 0333 numbers are the standard call rate 0903 are premium rates.
