This number called me claiming to be bank security and that 2 transactions had been requested from my bank. One for Amazon for £200 and an international money transfer for £900. Press 1 to authorise or hold if you haven't made these transactions. I hung up.

I have a Sky and 02 contract, different phones. I had a call from this number purporting to be 02 on my Sky phone; took me a while to realise! Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. Asked for my full name, which I queried as he was supposed to have my account records. However, not giving anything away, I did so but he misspelled everything. This number seems to be from Dagastan in Russia. As I don't know anyone in Russia I would suggest it is a scam caller. Fortunately I got it as a missed call.

Scam tried to rip my 94 yr old mother off by offering a pendant fortunate she live with us but we weren't there to stop her giving bank details out . Called the number and they put the phone down on us clearly a fraud from a foreign country. Called bank and blocked account from been ripped off by these disgusting evil cretins. Be aware they are changing the last few digits on this number so less recognisable

01797 740263 called 16 Jan 23 at 13:48hrs left no message, on ansa machine. 01797 360627 called 16 Jan 23 at 09:40 hrs, silent call. 01797 740246 called 13 Jan 23 at 09;25 hrs, silent call 01797 740242 called 6 Jan 23 at 14:07 hrs, silent call 01797 360623 called 3 Dec 22 at 08:30 hrs trying to sell loft insulation. 01797 740247 called 28 Nov 22 at 09:17 hrs left no message. All reported here. ANYONE got any suggestions please?

SCAM txt message from this number. Advising me I’ve been in close contact with someone who has recently tested positive. Please order a test kit: with a web address. (Doesn’t even say positive for what) Fools! I attempted to look up the web address on my iPad and it came up as non existent. Presumably they would have tried to make me pay for them.

Constant harassment scam call

SCAM Guy called Daniel Gomes purporting to be from Amazon Prime informing me that someone in Manchester had tried to use my account and they needed to verify my details or my account would be suspended for my protection. I did not supply any information, but was told to think about it and call back on 0208 123 7233 which I certainly did not do. I was called again later and this time I hung up. I have received genuine e-mails from Amazon mentioning this type of scam.

‘This call is from HM Customs & Excise regarding non payment of tax. You will be prosecuted blah blah blah’. Then invited to press 1 to speak to an operator, press 2 for payment. Could be worrying if you’re unaware of the scam. I just disconnected.
