SCAM number showed as 01942794042 however, it was definitely from a call centre and the female voice started the call with "thank-you for connecting with BT" which seemed odd. Loft insulation. Had several phone calls this week from various numbers starting 02033669. I answered this before it went to answer phone (no messages left when connected to it on previous calls) and got a load of waffle about loft insulation problems. "We have a list of properties ............ " "Well you can remove mine" and I ended call.
Missed call and they supposedly left a voicemail (but didn t). Assume this was yet another PPI call. Argghhh!

Called and hung up after 2 rings. Did not leave message. Can't have been that important then. Just annoying!
SCAM Received a call apparently from O2 asking if my phone service was good. I said it was fine and hung up. Almost immediately after I received a warning from O2 by text: *SECURITY WARNING* The one-time code you requested will arrive shortly. If someone's calling you and asking for a code, please end the call because they DO NOT work for O2. If you suspect fraud, call us on 202 so we can protect your account. Soon after a code came from O2. This suggests the caller was trying to access my account.

Lame sales call, claiming to work with BT Openreach. Considering that Openreach hasn t been called "BT Openreach" for several years, BT divested the company in March 2017. So, lame start to sales call. Then claims to save money on broadband and phone, I think we have all heard these claims.
At first I thought they were a legit company regarding my adverts already on the web. They then transferred me to someone else and he was very aggressively trying to get me to pay to promote my business. Eventually I said that I wasn t going to pay but he kept on. I hung up.
Just taken a call about cleaning carpets. Work in Dental practice with hard floors !

calls & rings off with no message - disturbes me when I am ill and not up to searching for the phone. it should be made unlawful to ring and leave no message, so one is left guessing, and I refuse to give them the satisfaction of ringing back, although it leaves me anxious in case missed something urgent!
