claims to be from 'social housing' (not a specific named landlord) and wants to deal with my repairs. i told them to email me as i don't know who they are. my landlord would send me a letter or email me and would NEVER offer to do unsolicited repairs, ha!!

Recieved phone call from 01483577441 at 1045am on Saturday 28th January 2023, Preporting to be from Amazon, stating they were witholding a payment of £700.00 As they suspect it. Asking me to press 1, which of course I didn't. This was a recorded message. I have never bourght anything of that value. This is a scam. beware.

The number is for a place called Sam's Cafe. They phoned me claiming to be Carphone Warehouse, offering me a deal on the latest iPhone. I was in the market for a new phone, lucky I didn't bite.
one of several fake numbers being used by an unidentified woman (South Asian accent) demanding to speak to our CIO. Refusing to explain purpose of call, whenever she says she'll get the information and call back, she just rings up the next day asking for the CIO again. What a pointless waste of time!

He wanted me to switch on computers and check broadband speed etc. Of course I did not comply and hung up. SCAM A female agent called me with Mobile Phone = 07428693956 at 12:02 pm identifying themselves as BT Customer Services and Security. They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. Now BT customer services never ring outbound on a mobile, plus IP addresses are allotted by the router and not by the user. This is a scam and dangerous number if they ring you just take details, report it as fraud and scam, then hang up! ###SCAM###SCAM#FRAUD#FRA
This is a private number but seems to be being used to gain bank details from vulnerable people. We have been called by people finding this number on their phone when we don't call anyone on this number.
