Called about a motorcycle accident only 6 days ago (about which I'd only spoken to insurance company) - their info was several days old and when I asked who they were and why they were contacting me they asked why I was being rude and then hung up! - all the signs of a dodgy '3rd party claims vulture' if you ask me!!

The person wanted me to hold down the Windows and 'R' keys so that he could correct the problem. I asked him if that enabled him to take control of my machine and he then put the phone down. Seems dodgy.

I have no idea how you made this a number from Russia, no idea what or who it is, just rings and hangs up, so blocked. DON'T EVER ring back, if they don't speak it's of no use to you, and is one of the ways to rip you off, because it registers as a live number and they docan sell your number onto other scam lists; and the number can get diverted to a premium number that will cost you serious money, search it before anything else, and report when it's bad.
