I do know they used to be a company called Lombard Legal who were based in liverpool and the man behind this was christian carney who employed his staff as directors. They harrass you to take a loan out with them

Asian sounding male saying my BT internet was being hacked. When I refused to turn on my computer he became very abusive and demanding. I hung up!

He was from Microsoft "apparently" his name was Michael "apparently" I started to talk Micrsoft and malware and cyber security as he said he was trying to help with my comouter issues . I am trained in this area started asking specific questions and I obviously was a little more knowledgable than "Michael" was.. He quickly hung up!

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. I had a call off this number and asked for their complaints details. I emailed them at [email?protected] I just had to give them my name and number and they removed me straight away. I haven t had any calls since.
