However when I started the process I immediately suspected it was scam and called them out for being scammer. I had 2 calls from this number today 17/04/22 and as soon as I answered the line went dead no verbal response. I expect it’s a scam wanting me to call beach and get charged an extortionate fee for doing so. Who called me.co.uk implies the call was placed from the Kemerovo Region of the Russian Federation.

After the worst experience of my life dealing or rather " attempting " To deal with Scottish Power it is a whole new experience dealing with British gas lite ,the simplicity surrounding B/gas is very nearly faultless , enter readings , receive bill online in minutes , pay by direct debit , wonderful the only fly in the ointment on a couple of times my meter readings were not as b/gas expected.
I was called the other day from this number when I answered it was silent no one talked so I hung up.

Just called me regarding an attempted transaction to John Lewis. Said my account was ‘under attack’ and there had been several suspicious transactions. He said he would escalate my case to Level 3 fraud, set up a new account number and sort code with a random generated name. Phoned Santander fraud department who confirmed my account was safe - the scammer then called me back ‘No Caller ID’! so I told him in no uncertain terms that he was a scamming bastard and he could go forth and multiply.

I have received 2 computer generated messages about an Amazon account from this number. On the surface it appears to be a local number but I believe it is a scam.
I called the number back and knew I was connected as the clock on my phone was showing how long my connection was. As no human or recorded voice answered I hung up. This was at 9:54 pm.

As yet I haven't received a call from this number but during another call from 01252 710611- most definitedly a scam regarding Amazon Prime - I was asked to call this London number to veryify my account. Naturally I did not . Hope this helps.
