Just received a call from an Indian sounding chap called Charles . Asked me to confirm if I was receiving a high volume of telemarketing calls, and that he could help. Gave me the 0845 number, and told me to call for a box to plug in to the phone for ?1 something per month. Steve Star from some company offering legal advice and help. Asked if I d had an accident in the last 2.5 years or if someone in the family had. I asked him for the source of the information on me. He asked me what I meant? I said that if he was saying I had an accident , he must have some information on me and in that case, I had a right to know the source. He said " we help people , that s what we do" then he hung up - very helpful!!

Having registered for no telemarketing calls some 16 months ago these pests will not stop. I ve reported them countless times to no avail. There staff are very rude. Avoid like the plague.

SCAM call received from this number at 1130 on Mon 19/10/2020 stating “THIS IS A CALL FROM BRITISH TELECOM. YOUR LANDLINE AND INTERNET ARE ABOUT TO BE DISCONNECTED. PLEASE PRESS ONE”. I suspect that this is one of those calls which when you press “1” you will automatically be charged for a premium call. If you receive a call from this number, do NOT press 1 and block the number from your system.
Continuous calling from the same number, 7 times today and when I answered got an Asian sounding bloke who wouldn't take no for an answer then hung up.

This number called me asking they want to authorize payment worth of £600.00 to California. I do not know anyone from California first of all. When I said I do not have any knowledge of what you talking person on a phone said this is a fraud. So to stop this started asking me bank details which I refused to share and hung up. I repeatedly ask from where you calling? which bank? etc there was no straight forward answers. In the last I said you are a fraud and hung up.

We offer a FREE service to help with things like your CV, Interview skills, job finding etc. It is NOT a scam and completely voluntary. Reply

Answered. Nobody spoke, then hung up - Happened twice.
I believe this is a scam they send me a text message saying this "To keep your giffgaff services running, sign in below and follow the steps immediately. https://ggteam.co". Could obviously tell since the link looks odd. Don't follow the link, nor reply to the text nor call them.
Phishing text pointing to "reshipping-schedule". This is not connected to the Post Office and is trying to steal your details.
Ring at all hours, always silence on the other end of the phone or hang up after a few rings. Its a premium number so I guess they are looking for people to call them back so that they can make money. Extremely persistent and annoying.
