I used to donate, but was made redundant so cancelled. I have told them this but I get phone calls every few months. It s annoying because the money they waste on spamming everyone could be better used I m sure.
Spam caller saying from Virgin media and i had a problem with my internet connection and tried to get me to give him access to my computer, threatened to disconect my broadband if I didn't do as requested. I refused and phoned Virgin - nothing to do with them

SCAM number showed as 01942794042 however, it was definitely from a call centre and the female voice started the call with "thank-you for connecting with BT" which seemed odd. Turns out it was one of those dodgy activity on your internet connection calls - as usual I denied having and internet connection a mobile phone and even a landline. She gave up in frustration before I did
Stated he was phoning from Microsoft and became very aggressive and threatening when I said I was not interested.Stated they would cut off my computer .When I asked why he was phoning from a mobile rather than landline he did not respnd nor when I said I would phone Microsoft myself.Think this is most likely to be a scam (if not Microsoft need to be more careful in who they employ!!)

calls & rings off with no message - disturbes me when I am ill and not up to searching for the phone. it should be made unlawful to ring and leave no message, so one is left guessing, and I refuse to give them the satisfaction of ringing back, although it leaves me anxious in case missed something urgent!

SCAM said calling from open reach, and will cut off our internet for illegal activity. We just hung up
SCAM Ignored call. It went to voicemail and an automated voice left a message saying that there had been some suspicious activity on my Amazon account to the amount of £1,400+ and that my account would be locked and I should press 1 or 2 to sort this out. Obviously I didn't. I've checked my account due to receiving the same message from a mobile number a couple of days before and it's fine.

I managed to keep this caller on the line for about 10 minutes. I was told they were to help with Windows problems. I asked for an address and was given 15 Victoria Street London. The helpline number is 0800 031 4414. The first person was female with a foreign accent and mentioned Las Vegas USA then South East Asia and India when I asked where their base was. SCAM / SPAM Rang by Victoria who asked if I was in a car accident. I got put through to a call centre almost as soon as I picked up. Call centre asked if I had been in an accident (If I 'hadn't', why would I have been put through). The line then went dead after 1 min 13. Rang back and it said I could be charged on the number.
