Has rung me around 10 times in the last day, a couple of times I have answered and I the caller has hung up. I thing they are so used to people not answering, they are shocked when someone answers and he just hung up.

An male idiot called me to follow up on a brochure I had ordered. I told him I previously did arrange for a home visit and these planks cancelled it at 2 hours notice citing a broken down car. Unsolicited calls - seems like a scam

This number rang advising illegal activity has taken place on my internet and I should press 1. Needless to say, I ignored this. Also rang again by 01633976572 saying the same.

Checked 1471 and found I had been called (no message left). Didn t call back because I know that 0844 is a rip-off number that s always chargeable. Yep, this a tele marketing group www.punchgeneration.com using a variety of 01483 numbers.

It is almost certainly a scammer using a spoofed number. You cannot report it as it does not originate from the UK.

As soon as you answer they hang up - Only knew it was Hastings direct from this website.

i had to tell the man on the other end that i have reported the number and that its been traced to them and the police were on their way. the i heard him swearing using the F word, then hang up.i laughed.

Asian sounding guy, rabbiting at speed about who I was and telling me my details, barely caught a word, then says BT will call to save me money on my Telephone and Broadband, then hung up immediately, never asked was I interested in any possible savings, not even the basic pleasantries of asking how I was etc... Just quick fire rabbit rabbit rabbit, BT will call me, click, all I can say is, if this was anything to do with BT, they are now less likely to be getting my business than they were before.

The number is fake. London numbers don t start with a 1 after the city code of 020, although there is a real payday loan company called Lending Stream.
