Fraud claimed to be investigating me for Tax Evasion to exact personal information

SCAM Used to try a scam saying that my Amazon account had been used fraudulently used - rather dificult as Amazon don't have my number. Very abusive when I would not cooperate

SCAM indian call centre ttrying to extract financial information for 'debt consolidation' keep calling them giving the name joe hanesburg!

SCAM This is probably not a UK based number, as the gentleman (with a strong Indian accent) who called said he was in London. I played along for a bit to see what the scam was, and he offered to sign me up to a government backed scheme to clear all my outstanding debts, if I give him my bank account details. When I asked him how the government is going to clear it's own debts, he hung up.

Fraud - says from internet provider (Not specified ) internet being disconnected in 24 hours

Spam? 0800 numbers are usually freephone and used for incoming calls rather than outgoing ones from the caller so this is likely to be dodgy, particularly as it appears to be unidentifiable

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Similar numbers are reported as a telemarketing - scam PPI calls mainly. Did someone answer any number of this range? Is there any reason why companies use line with shared costs for just ringing you and left no message (other than scam...)? If this was a silent call for you, do not call back for any reason! Probably I am wrong with this one but started to be

Calling about a company requesting renewal of tv and digit box. They had a correct bank security word but at point of requested payment the card number was wrong. This saved us from a fraudulent payment as we thought we did have an insurance policy for the

A South African lady said she was phoning from the telephone help service. I told her we didn't take calls of that nature from unsolicited callers. She said she wasn't an unsolicited caller, so I asked if I had "requested a call from her"? Needless to say, she then hung up!

As previous comments state, I was also offered oral from this caller and also threatened to put me in a kennel while he would force me to act like a dog and he dresses as a cop

Unknown as to who this is, however if you try to ring it back, you get an automated message saying " The number you have dialed is not recognised ", its obviously yet another criminal scam. When on earth will the law clamp down on these organisations. Enough is enough.

Called my elderly mother 30/5/18 They wanted to take over control of her computer and tried to get her to download software. They claimed to be from a bank but were criminals. Good job she is deaf and couldn't manage to do what they wanted on the computer
