Wanted to know if I had some unwanted downloads on my computer

absolute nightmare. called about 10 times a week from different numbers, even though i block the new number everytime. Asked them to take the number off the list.

I used ring back - not a good idea on reflection. The male voice asked my name and so I asked his. He said "Roger". I felt this was a bit inadequate and so asked again at which point he got stroppy: "I ve told you". I hung up.

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... interesting... a call from aberdeen, a city i ve never been to and where I certainly do NOT know people who have an interest in calling me... couldn t find any other comments/complaints on the web. well, won t take the risk of ringing them back....

Rang once, couldn t understand name of company but heard PPI, so put phone down, rang back immediately and the male operative said, "Why did you put the phone down", I replied, "Cos I m not interested". He answered, "Interested in what" in an angry tone, so I just said, "In whatever you re selling" and hung up again. The phone then rang again immediately and I didn t answer. Didn t like the tone of the call at all, or appreciate being rung back a further twice.
