Silent call From Russia!!!
This was actually just an automated BT text-to-landline service telling me the time slot for my Costco parcel delivery that I was expecting, so this was completely legit for me. It will try ringing you several times until you listen to the text message so just listen and it will stop. However, as it's a generic BT service it is open to abuse but I would advise against blocking it because the message delivery service itself is not a scam, just be aware though that the message you receive could be bogus.

Fraud: This was a text received stating someone was trying to change recipient details on an HSBC account and they wanted me to confirm details and authenticity. However, I have not had an HSBC account for more than 4 years. Please report the number to your phone carrier and apply the normal block and spam filter to the number. Just got call from this person spoke with english accent asked about car I was selling on gumtree only posted seconds before phone call then asked about accidents and I hung up had two calls this week off same number one before got straight to the point asking about an accident i had. I ve never had one in my life I challenged him and he hung up. My guess there getting numbers off gumtree ads for cars. Number now blocked.

Fraud: Do not give these people the time of day. SCAM finance, bit coin etc. Contact name says London but suspect it's a clone computer generated number. Beware, reject and don't answer.

This number rang me. When I answered it was a recorded message saying I had phoned them! And to leave a message. I was more than willing to leave a message telling them not to ring me but their mailbox was full! Iperhaps they are trying a different tack by creating nuisance calls to then ring you offering a services to get rid of them. Highly suspicious!
