I have reported them to the fraud squad along with emailing my bank to see if I can get the money back through them as I too, borrowed money to do this. I had a missed call from this number but when I tried to call it back it doesn’t ring it just makes a long beep tone like it’s not an active phone line. I have also internet searched this number with no results. I believe this number to be a scam.
SCAM Fraud Caller said they were from "banking credit control" and wanted my name and date of birth because he had seen fraudulent activity on my card. When I said I had 4 cards he again asked for my name and DOB so I made something up and he said he could definitely see £300 going to Amazon and £1100 as an International Money Transfer to China! I again asked him which of the 4 cards he was talking about and when he said VISA I told him I didn't have a VISA card and he put the phone down.
