Upon answering a call on the land line around 18:30 this evening, the caller hung up so out of curiosity I dialled 1471 (UK), the call back service and I pressed 3 on my phone to be put directly through to the missed call number. I didn t catch the receivers company name but heard a American or maybe Canadian Man s accent and instructions for extension required. I hung up but thought to call 1471 again and noted down the number being, 0203-4574180 and dialled it to ascertain exactly who had called in case i

Phone call from these people. Smooth talking salesman told me name of the company and said they are doing surveys. I answered some questions about the property and then he said they are calling at 7 pm tomorrow to do a property survey and sit down with me and discuss options. I was alarmed and said I do not let strangers into my house. He was persistent so I put the phone down. I wonder if anyone ever agrees to the property survey. They might be genuine, but I reckon it is best not to chance it.

These keep calling and hanging up. Don t allow call backs. From other sites it appears to be folks asking for bank details.

I have not answered any calls from this nos but, they persistently call! sometimes as often as 4/5 times daily.

Claimed to be paid by Microsoft, insisted I switch on my computer which supposedly had a virus. Resisted and argued when challenged, became abusive and continued to try to persuade me (but failed). Not expecting a call from a broadband provider haven t given my number to anyone regarding broadband or phone, this man saying they are EE. Although polite enough, I was polite on BOTH occasions they called, 2.30pm and 19.33. I asked them not to call me again the first time around and I asked them AGAIN this evening, so nuscience calls now. Blocked.
