got a call from this number and they hung up when I answered. few mins later someone rang quoting my name and address saying we had been getting unwanted calls. they could block these calls etc sounded good till charge of 1.90 a month mentioned. i asked who reported these calls but he said it was a general thing people in this area were suffering from. after hung up I checked the number of who called and was same as first caller who had hung up. these are the very same people we dont want calls from surely?

First they called tried to confirm that the were speaking to the person they were calling for. Annoyingly they would read back my address. Then they would ask if they could do a short survey. another time they have an Indian accent and sometimes they have an English accent. Sometimes Indian man. The English accent one wanted to know if there was central heating in the house. she went straight into the question despite me telling her she had the wrong name and number. Keep getting 0843 numbers calling with robot messages. After some research I have gone on TPSonline.org where you can opt out of getting marketing calls, legally they cannot call you anymore. Why is this not more widely known I ask myself?
Definitely weird! I have missed calls all the time from this number and another they call constantly. Left one strange answer phone message. Looking at others comments seems to be people praying on customers of car phone warehouse who are due an upgrade. Which I am but haven t yet. Just ignore/block and go to the store to be sure n safe.
