To everyone that has lost money to these scammers I would ask you to get in touch with your local Trading Standards Officer, then apply to the Small Claims Court (it only costs £25.00 Online, which will be refunded to you.) This number rang on 09/03/23. When I answered, the call just ended. This number rang again on 10/03/23. The caller had a South Asian accent, knew my name and enquired about the car accident I'd had. I responded that this would be the car accident I hadn't had and told him to stop wasting my time. There was a fairly insincere 'apology' that he'd been given the incorrect details.
