I had this call yesterday and told them I am not interested in a smart meter. He wanted me to confirm my name and address . They said I won't be contacted anymore. They do announce themselves to contact customers on behalf of EON and are not actually EON.I am sure eon knows about it despite they deny they use such call centres. number texted me asking who i was, claiming they had my number on their phone, needless to say i didn't tell them my name, telling them i had no idea how they got my number. Seemed like a scam or worse, especially asking for my name.
Medical = told me they were Public Health and had I had any major health problems recently. I sharply told them that was none of their business and they hung up. They had my name to ask if it was me on the line which is a bit worrying.

Man with a thick Indian accent rang claiming to be from BT ringing about the internet slowing down at the house. He had my name and address and postcode. When I asked what my account number was he reeled off a number (which later check was wrong). I said I’d call by back and he gave me an 0333 number saying it was BT customer service. Rubbish! Very clever scammers trying to gain access to your internet where they can steal your bank details etc

Yet, another Solar Panel caller wanting to test our solar panels. Nothing more than a scam caller and told them so, if your panels are working, you can tell by the read outs and feed in tariff! If there is a fault, they wont work, if they are down and not working properly the read outs will tell you. The say they are employed to test the panels free of charge, all they will do is test and say your system can be improved. Be warned!

Automated voice call from this number on Tues 27th June regarding a "transfer from my account in the sum of £1000+ and a transaction to Amazon in the sum of £300+" and I was invited to press button 1 to authorise both transactions which I obviously did not do. There was no description of which "account" involved in either the transfer or the Amazon transaction. Checking all accounts confirms NO cash transfer and NO transaction with Amazon.
Caller was most insistent that I gave him my bank details even though the direct debit had already been set up . Really annoying caller, will hang up next time can’t afford another 20 mins of my life explaining to some unknown person why I would not give them my bank details
