Came up local number, very much not a local fella trying to tell me he was from BT and my internet wasnt working. Told him i was on wifi calling and the fool put the phone down. Fraud

Not a recognised number, I left it to go to voicemail and what I heard sounded like someone that had butt dialed my number, as it was faint and like people having a conversation in the background, rather than leaving me a message. Insulation. They claim it's a survey, but you know it's a scam. Silence on line for several seconds. (I do not say anything when answering unknown numbers just to see if it is a robot messenging call). When questioned about what company he was representing, the man purported to be an energy adviser from the Insulation Advice Line. I asked him if he could provide his company number. He replied 'No'. He was rude and talked over me. The threat of reporting him because of TPS violation did not phase him.
