Had a call today from a man claiming to be Windows who said that my computer had automatically informed him of a fault. Sensing this was a scam, I persisted in asking for a name (none was given apart from windows , and an explanation of what the error code was that he was claiming to get from my computer. Totally agree with NMS. I've got a BT8500 truecall cordless phone (£40 on Amazon for a twin) it NEVER rings unless it's from callers which I have allowed through. Never really been a fan of BT stuff but these phones are great.
