SCAM, third call i have had from these scammers about an accident wanting to want all particulars. pretending to be from insurance association!

Fraud Was chatting with someone online who gave me this number. Claimed she was 20 years old. Then she sent a nude pic of herself, then told me she's 17, but 18 next month. So I called a halt and said sharing pics with anyone under 18 is illegal, let's leave it here. Answered call which then played pre-recorded message purporting to be about amazon prime renewal and to press 1 if I didn't wish to renew. I asked the caller how he had my number as it wasn't the one associated with my amazon account (it was but knew I was being played) - he then told me to f£&@ off you f&£@£)£ idiot and hung up.

Said it's admiral and wanted to send me documents for personal compensation about accident I had with person insured by them. Money from admiral department to give me as their customer caused the accident!! WTF?! And then he said wrong car model so it's a scam!!

According to my mobile provider I called this premium number twice, which I did not, this number must be part of a scam beware !!

Fraud - pretending to be HMRC

Scammer claiming to be from O2, offering to reduce my bill by 30%. Didn't confirm my name, if it matches the account holder name, or any account details besides the phone number (which they'd just called, so duh...). Just started asking for the verification code they send you by text when accessing your account. The one where the message specifically states not to give the code to anyone, even people claiming to be O2 staff... Probably not calling from Edinburgh either, probably a spoofed number.

Return phone number on text message warning supposedly from Santander Bank. I confirmed with Santander the message was not from them. Text deleted. Originating phone number blocked.(it was a UK mobile number which I didn’t note)

Yet, another Solar Panel caller wanting to test our solar panels. Nothing more than a scam caller and told them so, if your panels are working, you can tell by the read outs and feed in tariff! If there is a fault, they wont work, if they are down and not working properly the read outs will tell you. The say they are employed to test the panels free of charge, all they will do is test and say your system can be improved. Be warned!
