SCAM Call on 4th April 21, very heavy Indian accent with a songbird in the background! Doubted it would be genuine because of the standard of english so cut him off. However he did have my first & last name and referred to me having requested VOIP which I had done previously but I had already been told definitively that VOIP was not available here. I just had contact with (real) BT who checked my records and no contact had been attempted on that date.

Hello, This number called me and clamed they where from some taxation office. They wanted me to give them all my private information inculding my bank account and my tax file number. Please don't fall for this scam like I did. Thank.

After reading so many comments, this is definitely a SCAM. TestersKeep keep sending me messages at least two-three times a week. Today's one was strange however... Scam number impersonating virgin money. I received a text which appeared to be from virgin money “this is your one time passcode to debit your account (amount) to pay (company). If this was NOT you call us on 03309124638” I called Virgin money directly using their actual number from the back of my bank card to report it, it’s definitely a scam.

I answer and 3s later they put the phone down. They ring about once every 2-3 days. Allways the same thing happening
