I checked I was still registered with TPS and I was, so the next time they phoned I informed them of this and told them not to phone me again. Its been almost four hours now without a phone call, so feeling hooeful!
This is a scam recorded phone call saying it is from your bank (but not which one) and that you have 2 transactions on your card (does not say what card) and the usual press 1 or 2

We were awaiting a phone call from our GP. This number rang and when we called back it said there would be a charge to connect if we dialled 3. The number was dead!!! We can only hope we have not been charged.

SCAM So I got this phone call guy with american accent prob fake accent. new my name and said my washing machine insurance cover was about to expire and I been selected for a discount . Instead of usual 1 year direct debit if i go for 2 years up front I will get 1 year free lol. he actualy said was from domestic and general. Caller claimed to be from car phone warehouse with a great deal. I said wasn't interested and put the phone down.
SCAM said they were from Royal Mail and that I needed to pay £2.99 for my parcel.

I rang the number 01634250475 & noted when I checked with "who called me" that it stated it was Halifax Bank. So I rang the number and lady with foreign accent answered but she was not employed by Halifax bank so I put the phone down. Hope this helps somewon.
